Services
Comprehensive Support, Every Stage of the Ship Recycling Lifecycle
What We Do
Our Services
GreenHul Solutions delivers end-to-end technical, regulatory, and operational services for ship owners, recycling yards, and regulatory bodies — guiding every vessel safely and compliantly from its final voyage to responsible dismantling.
Ship Recycling Management
Full project management and consulting support for vessel dismantling, aligned with the IMO’s Hong Kong Convention (HKC) and the EU Ship Recycling Regulation (EU SRR). We coordinate the moving parts — owners, yards, surveyors, and regulators — so the process runs safely and on schedule from start to finish.
Transit to Destination (TTD) Planning
We manage the physical delivery of end-of-life vessels from their last active port to the recycling facility, including towage and voyage planning to destinations such as the Chattogram Ship Breaking Area in Bangladesh. Our team coordinates routing, timing, and documentation to ensure the final voyage is safe, efficient, and fully compliant before beaching begins.
Longitudinal Centre of Flotation (LCF) & Stability Calculations
Accurate LCF and hydrostatic calculations are essential to safe beaching and controlled dismantling. We work with naval architects to assess how a vessel’s trim and draft will shift as structural weight is removed, helping yards plan winching, cutting sequences, and load distribution so the hull stays stable throughout the recycling process.
Environmental & Safety Compliance
Auditing and ongoing monitoring of shipbreaking yards against international safety, pollution control, and labor standards — helping facilities meet the requirements of HKC, EU SRR, and the Basel Convention.
Inventory of Hazardous Materials (IHM)
Preparation and verification of IHM Part I, II, and III reports, ensuring vessels carry the documentation required for entry into the recycling process and compliance throughout their operational life.
Licensing & Regulatory Advisory
Support in securing ship recycling certificates, facility licensing, and compliance documentation, including liaison with classification societies and regulatory bodies throughout the certification process.
